Residential Information

Our Philosophy

  • We believe that every house is different, every job is unique, and everyone has questions they would like answered. Questions range from: “I have ‘popcorn’ ceilings, how do you remove them? How much will it cost? How long will it take?” to more technical questions, such as “I have asbestos containing sheet vinyl laid on a tongue & groove fir floor. Can you remove the sheet vinyl so I can save the T&G flooring, re-sand and re-finish it?”.
  • It’s important for us to “see” every job we bid in order to understand the details about the job, including the site conditions. We will take the time to address your concerns and answer any questions you may have regarding the removal process.  We fully understand that it’s your home and we want you to be as comfortable as possible with the solution and the contractor you partner with to remove your hazardous materials.
  • We measure to ensure quantities of materials being removed are accurate and to get a “feel” for the job.
  • We take pictures so that our Supervisors and Workers are knowledgeable about the job before they leave our warehouse and know what equipment to bring to your home. We save you money by giving the work crew as much information up front as we can about the job before they arrive at your home.
  • When we provide you with a written bid we honor the price quoted, unless unforeseen circumstances or a change-orders occur. And even then, we consult with you before we do the work and spend your money
  • Turning over your home to American Environmental Construction involves trusting us and our personnel to:
    • Always being in contact with you to determine when you want to start the job, and what time should we be on-site.
    • Being respectful of you, your family, and your pets.
    • Being respectful of your home.
    • Being respectful of your personal belongings.
    • Always contacting you to inform you of any changes that might take place as we do our work.

Telephone Bids
We can, and often do, give “over-the-phone” budget estimates. But “telephone bids” paint only part of the picture, a quick one at that, and a picture that may be incomplete. We need to understand the environment within which the job takes place so that our bid may be as detailed, accurate, and as cost effective as possible.

Bottom Line
You’re investing your time and money to remodel or repair your home, shouldn’t you expect a contractor to approach your requirements in a professional and helpful manner, answer your questions and provide you with a professional, cost effective solution?        We do.
